About Nick

[vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]”I make people happy for a living.”

That simple statement is my favourite way of responding to people when they ask, “What do you do for a living?”. I’ve managed to have an incredible and very rewarding career as a musician (I play bass – insert the famous quote from “I Love You, Man”), and when a friend and colleague started working in real estate, he inspired me to do the same. I had an unfair bias, and I had unfairly seen it as sales tactics and tons of numbers (yawn), until I realized…People just want to be happy. It’s been one of the most satisfying decisions that I’ve ever made.

I was born in Toronto, grew up most of my life in Oakville (Kindergarten to high school (St. Thomas Aquinas if you’re wondering)), went to university in Hamilton (McMaster, go Marauders!), lived and worked in Burlington/Hamilton/Oakville/Toronto, toured Canada countless times, have been all over the world with music (still need to check off the polar continents and Africa), and been living in Mississauga for about 13 years, the last eight of which have been in one of my favourite areas: Port Credit (I love music, restaurants and water). I’ve seen many cosmopolitan cities around Canada and the world, and I love the Toronto area. I know the GTA like the back of my hand, and I love it here. I’d never leave. (Well, not for long.)

Getting paid to do what you love is one of the most rewarding things in life. I am very lucky to have had a huge range of experiences in my career. I’ve worked with autistic kids as a behavioural therapist (B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology, no I can’t read your mind…or is that what I want you to think?), helped put together a massive campaign for a non-profit organization in the early 2000s, taught and managed at a wicked music school, freelance writing, managed my own business for over 15 years, i.e. playing bass for some awesome people (I owe this guy a lot), and helping people buy and sell one of their most prized possessions: their homes.

So…what do you want to talk about today? I’m listening.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”7235″][quote]With so many different pockets and neighbourhoods, being a real estate agent in the Toronto area can be challenging. Having lived most of my life in the west end of the GTA, I grew up, went to school, and have lived and worked in every city between Toronto and Hamilton. I love each area for its unique qualities and character, and will help you find a home in the one that you love, too.[/quote][/vc_column][/vc_ro
